Information on Privacy Policy, provided under articles 13 and 14 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR")

 

 

 

Dear User,

this information is provided to you not only in accordance with the obligations imposed by the Laws on personal data protection - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter ‘GDPR’), D. Lgs 196/2003, as updated by D. Lgs 101/2018 (or ‘Personal Data Protection Code’) and the relevant provisions of the Italian Data Protection Authority - but also because Social Seed s.r.l. (hereinafter also the ‘Company’) believes that the protection of personal data is a fundamental value of its business and wishes to provide any information that may help you protect your privacy and control the use that is made of your personal data when you navigate on this website.​

Personal data is any information concerning an identified or identifiable person referred to as a ‘data subject’ (hereinafter also referred to as ‘User’), such as personal data, navigation data, information concerning economic conditions, state of health, lifestyle, etc.

 

Data controller

The Data Controller, i.e. the entity that determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data to which you may refer to exercise your rights under the GDPR, is Social Seed s.r.l., Tax Code: 03332531205 with registered office in Bologna (BO) Via G. Oberdan, n. 9, Cap. 40126.

Sources and categories of processed data, nature of data conferral and processing methods

The processed personal data are mainly collected from the User, when they navigate on the site or make use of the services provided. This policy analyses the personal data processed in the different sections of the Site and exclusively regulates the personal data processing activities carried out on the site and not for other websites to which the User is redirected. The data collected by the site are mainly processed electronically by means of software and IT procedures suitable for guaranteeing technical and IT security measures (such as, for example, the implementation of the HTTPS secure transmission protocol for the transfer of information entered on the site).

 

Browsing data 

 

Types of data and nature of conferment

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment (such as, for example, the name and type of device connecting to the site).

The conferment of such data is not compulsory; if the User decides not to provide such data, he/she will not be able to navigate on the site and will not be able to access the functionalities made available by it.

 

Purpose of processing

This data is used to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site, to check its correct functioning, to improve the quality of the services offered and to optimise the functionality of the site.

This data is processed to the extent strictly necessary and proportionate to guarantee the security of the networks and information passing through them.

 

Legal basis

Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR - Legitimate interest of the data controller in maintaining the security of the Site and that it is not used in a way that infringes the rights of others or as a channel for the commission of unlawful acts or possible fraud (see recital 47 of the GDPR).

 

Data Retention period

The personal data referred to in this section shall be retained for up to 1 month from the date of collection, unless the data subject objects, which may be exercised at any time in accordance with the procedures set out in the ‘Rights of the data subject’ section of this notice.

 

 

Contact Area

The site does not host any contact area, and therefore does not collect the following types of data

  • name and surname;

  • e-mail address;

  • blanks for entering message text.

 

 

Cookie policy

Eventual recipients or categories of recipients of personal data and transfer of personal data to a third country or outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

 

The data may only be accessed by authorised persons who have been duly instructed (also with regard to compliance with security measures and confidentiality obligations) pursuant to Article 29 GDPR (by way of example: personnel and collaborators of the Company who are responsible for providing feedback to contact requests made by Users).

The data may also be accessed, in their capacity as autonomous data controllers or data processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR, by professionals and consultants appointed by the Company.

In particular, by way of non-limiting example, the data may be accessed by:

  • Parties that provide services for the management of the Company's information system and communication networks (including email accounts);

  • Companies that support Social Seed s.r.l. in the administration of the site or to provide the services requested by the User;

  • Authorities responsible for fulfilling legal obligations and/or provisions of public bodies, upon explicit request.

 

In order to obtain an up-to-date list of the persons who may become aware of your personal data, you may send a communication by e-mail to info@socialseed.eu, taking care to specify the reason for the request.

The processed personal data may also be transferred to third countries or sites outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In these cases, should it be necessary to transfer data to a third country located outside the European Economic Area, Social Seed s.r.l. guarantees that such a transfer will take place only in the presence of an adequacy decision by the European Commission or other appropriate guarantees provided by the laws on the protection of personal data (such as, for example, the stipulation of standard contractual clauses with the entity that will receive the data and that must in any case guarantee that the user's personal data is subject to the same level of protection guaranteed by Social Seed s.r.l.).

 

Minors

Minors under 18 years of age must not provide information or personal data to the Company without the consent of those exercising parental responsibility over them. Therefore, the Company invites all those exercising parental responsibility over minors to inform them about the safe and responsible use of the Internet and the Web and to implement any procedures indicated from time to time in relation to the initiatives in which the Company intends to process the data of persons under the age of 18.

 

Rights of the data subject

The exercise of the rights indicated in this section is not subject to any constraint of form and is free of charge, except for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, pursuant to Article 12 (5) of the GDPR.

In relation to the processing described in this notice and pursuant to the GDPR, the User may exercise the following rights:

  • right of access to their personal data and to all the information referred to in Article 15 of the GDPR;

  • right to rectificate one's own inaccurate personal data and integration of incomplete data;

  • right to delete one's own data, except for those contained in documents that must be compulsorily kept by the Company and unless there is an overriding legitimate reason to proceed with processing;

  • right to restrict data processing where one of the cases referred to in Article 18 of the GDPR applies.

  • right to revoke any consent given for non-compulsory data processing, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before revocation.

 

The Data Subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the Data Protection Authority of the EU country in which the Data Subject normally resides or works, or of the place where the alleged infringement occurred, in relation to a processing operation that he or she considers to be non-compliant.

Consent

This information notice provides for some processing operations for which the User's consent is required. This consent may be expressed by ticking specific flags in the boxes at the bottom of the site forms through which the Users' personal data are collected.

Amendments to this policy

This Privacy Policy is current as of 25 July 2022. Any future changes to this policy will be posted on this page. Social Seed s.r.l. invites Users to regularly review this page in order to be updated in relation to any changes. Should it become necessary, the changes made to this information notice will be notified to the User by e-mail.
